Use Of High-purity Hydrogen Generator

1. Remove the sealing nut from the gas outlet on the back of the instrument. (Please keep this safe for future instrument self-testing.)

2. Connect the gas outlet of the self-tested hydrogen generator to the hydrogen inlet of the chromatograph using a Φ3 outer diameter gas tubing. Tighten the nut to ensure a good seal.

3. After connecting the gas lines, turn on the power switch of the hydrogen generator. Connect it to the chromatograph for use.

4. When using the instrument, pay attention to whether the flow rate indication matches the gas consumption of the chromatograph. If the flow rate indication significantly exceeds the actual consumption of the chromatograph, stop the instrument and check for leaks. Refer to the instrument's troubleshooting methods for troubleshooting and adjust accordingly. Then, check the instrument using the self-test method until it passes the test before use.

5. Periodically check if the silica gel in the filter has changed color. If it has changed color, replace or regenerate it immediately. To do this, unscrew the filter, then unscrew the filter cap, replace the silica gel, tighten the filter cap, and then install the filter back onto the base and tighten it. Check for leaks. 6. After a period of use, the electrolyte level will gradually decrease. When the electrolyte level approaches the lower limit, add water promptly. Simply add double-distilled water. Do not exceed the upper limit or fall below the lower limit when adding electrolyte or water.

7. Replace the electrolyte after six months of use. (The concentration of potassium hydroxide solution used in the hydrogen generator is approximately 10%.)

8. Never operate the instrument under no-load conditions when the pressure is "0". No-load operation will burn out the electrolytic cell and power supply components, causing damage to the entire instrument.

9. Do not disassemble the electrolytic cell yourself (as users cannot repair it themselves) to avoid affecting the operation of the entire instrument.

10. When moving the instrument, please use a syringe plunger to clean the electrolyte from the storage tank. After installing the inner cap, tighten the outer cap to prevent residual electrolyte from spilling during transportation, which could corrode the entire instrument and cause irreparable damage.
