Preparations Before Starting A High-purity Hydrogen Generator

1. Remove the instrument from the packaging box and check for any damage caused by improper transportation. Verify that the instrument's spare parts, certificate of conformity, and warranty card are complete.

Prepare the following items: several kilograms of 300mg KOH and silica gel desiccant granules, one glass stirring rod, and one 500ml glass container.

2. Add electrolyte:

① Pour all the potassium hydroxide from the spare parts into a container, then add 500ml of double-distilled water or deionized water as the stock solution. Stir thoroughly and allow the electrolyte to cool completely before use.

② Open the outer cover of the storage tank and remove the inner cover. (The inner cover is to prevent leakage during transportation; do not operate the device with the inner cover on.) Keep the inner cover safe for future transport.

③ Pour the cooled electrolyte (stock solution) into the storage tank, then add double-distilled water or deionized water, ensuring the water level does not exceed the upper limit or fall below the lower limit. Tighten the outer cover and allow it to cool for 10 minutes before use.
