Are Home Hydrogen Bath Machines Useful?

The core function of a home hydrogen bath machine is to "dissolve hydrogen in bath water, allowing the skin to come into contact with hydrogen-rich water," thus helping to improve skin condition (such as relieving dryness and itching), soothe muscle fatigue, and even relax the mind and body and improve sleep quality. However, its effects are limited to the skin surface and cannot penetrate the skin to reach the cells, resulting in limited health benefits.

Furthermore, home hydrogen bath machines have significant drawbacks: First, they are cumbersome to use, requiring the preparation of warm water and waiting for the hydrogen to dissolve, making each use time-consuming and unsuitable for elderly people with limited mobility; second, they are not cost-effective, with high-quality hydrogen bath machines being expensive and having low hydrogen dissolution rates, leading to inconsistent results; third, they are troublesome to maintain, requiring regular cleaning to prevent bacterial growth and increase the burden of use.
