Maintenance And Inspection Standards For Hydrogen Cylinders

Regular inspection is crucial for ensuring the safe use of hydrogen cylinders. According to international standards (such as ISO 11119-1) and domestic regulations, hydrogen cylinders must undergo a comprehensive inspection every three years, including visual inspection, wall thickness measurement, hydrostatic testing, and airtightness testing. If cracks, corrosion exceeding 10% of the cylinder wall thickness, or failure to pass the pressure test are found during inspection, the cylinder must be immediately scrapped.

 

Furthermore, users must adhere to the "first-come, first-served" principle, meaning the inspection cycle should be calculated based on the date of initial use or the last inspection, rather than solely relying on the cylinder's appearance.
